CCHs are designed energy efficient and climate friendly temperature-controlled pack-houses / aggregation hubs  strategically placed near farms across sub-Saharan Africa to maximise communal use for rural communities. CCHs will provide an integrated cooling solution for rural communities to deliver economic, environmental, and social wins contributing towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Agreement related Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and the Kigali amendment to the Montreal Protocol simultaneously.  Initially CCH’s will be set up in Kenya, where there is an increasing demand for cooling and cold-chain systems.
